J2376 - Our client is seeking a Vendor Account Manager to identify, acquire, develop and maintain customer relationships through origination of new business from Dealers and Manufacturers, within Hard Asset Finance sector. You will achieve and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, through quality and timeliness of service and by providing an excellent customer experience. Your key remit will be to exceed annual targets whilst managing risk and operating within company credit guidelines. Salary: Excellent salary, bonus and benefits. Location: UK, Flexible
Establish and implement a strategy to identify sources of new business as well as to manage and grow existing relationships.
Establish and implement a strategy for key customers & prospects, building relationships to earn their confidence and becoming their first-choice trusted finance contact.
Seek customer referrals.
Understand and appropriately price for risk.
Understand local market and implement strategy to maximise opportunities.
Pro-actively assist with any default / arrears positions.
Own your development plan / actions arising from 1-2-1 reviews; understand strengths and weaknesses in relation to role responsibilities.
Constructively challenge barriers to business; contribute and support team initiatives.
A minimum of 5 years asset finance sales experience, ideally Vendor experience in hard assets.
Basic understanding of financial accounts, as well as non-financial criteria, to ensure credit applications meet expected standards.
Ability to work on own initiative, setting own priorities and working to deadlines.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with colleagues and customers.
Ability to maintain clear and accurate documentation and customer information.
